David Parker

David Parker - Managing Director of Headcorn Parachute Club Ltd

David is owner of Headcorn Parachute Club and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of its aircraft.   David learnt to skydive with the Royal Marines in 1970. He founded the Headcorn Parachute Club in 1978.  He works quietly in the background ensuring that the aircraft are servicable and available on a daily basis.  David is married to Pip and has two young lads keen to work in the skydiving industry.

Jane Buckle

Jane Buckle - Managing Director of Skydive Headcorn Ltd

One of Headcorn's most experienced instructors. Between 1989 and 1998 she was the Chief Instructor, after which she took on the Managers role.  She has a total of over 7500 jumps and in her early skydiving days was a member of the British Style and Accuracy team. She is  an Advanced Instructor/Examiner, and takes responsibility for many AFF students, and also a qualified pilot who to flys both  the Islander and Caravan.  If that is not enough, she has twin girls to keep her busy. She is also the first point of contact for Display  jumps.

pete sizer Pete Sizer - Chief Instructor and Director of Skydive Headcorn Ltd

Pete is a very experienced instructor with more than 6000 jumps and is currently a member of the British Accuracy team and has represented the country at the last two world championships.  He is a qualified Advanced instructor/Examiner, Tandem and  AFF instructor. On a rainy day he can be found secreted away in the rigging room repairing old kit as he is also an Advanced Rigger. He is easily identified at lunchtimes by the arrival of his daughter, delivering sandwiches that make up his staple diet.
clem quinn

Clem Quinn - Instructor (Static Line and Tandem)

Clem has over 8,000 descents of which over 6,000 are Tandem descents (too scared to jump on his own). His jokes are legendary!!  He is also a Static Line instructor and Advanced Packer and spends many a rainy day on his hands and knees packing the club reserves. He is very fit and can be seen out running most mornings. 

del hopkins

Del Hopkins - Instructor (Static line, Tandem and AFF)

Del Hopkins teaches AFF and Static line and is always available for FS coaching.  He has competed in the National championships with his 4 way team Silver Fox. He is also an active member of the Display team and jumped into many differnet sites in Kent and the South East.  Previously he was a builder and since being on the full time staff  he has made many improvements to the place.

simon tizzard

Simon Tizzard - Pilot

Simon joined us in May 2009 having previously worked as a glider tug pilot plus several years in ground roles at easyJet. He is a fully qualified Commercial Pilot and Cessna Caravan Instructor with over 1000hrs flying experience to date and enjoys building things out of wood, metal etc for his caravan

Chris Lynch - Instructor (StaticLine, AFF and Tandem)

Chris has 13,000 jumps and holds national and world titles in the world of skydiving and is a valuable member of the team. Chris organises and runs Wing tips seminars around the UK, improving parachutists awareness and skills in Canopy piloting. Chris also accompanies Simon Hughes on AFF training trips to the USA.

Simon Hughes - Instructor (Static Line and AFF)

Simon has worked at Headcorn Parachute Club since 1990, has over 6,000 jumps and teaches AFF and Static line.  He owns and runs AirAffair, the camera department, offering all students a first class photography service. Simon, along with Chris, runs annual Accelerated Freefall courses abroad during the winter months to California & Florida.

richard parrott

Richard Parrott - Instructor (Static Line and Tandem)

Richard, or more commonly known as Polly has over 4,000 jumps most of which are tandems. He is a Farrier by trade and can often be seen making horseshoes on the airfield.  He is a qualified pilot and is currently building his hours so he can fly the club aircraft.

dave hartley

Dave Hartley - Instructor (Tandem)

Dave has over 3,000 jumps and  works full time at the club mainly taking beginners on tandems.  He was previously a member of the Display team.  His faithful companion is his dog Monty, a sheep dog who can be seen every day on guard and ready to round up any balls that are thrown for him.
