Terms and Conditions

Once a date has been booked for a Training Course or a Tandem skydive the following conditions will apply:

Changes without two weeks notice will incur a £50 per person charge. Changes without 48 hours notice will result in the loss of any monies paid, or if the booking is to redeem a voucher, it will be deemed to have been used. Balance of payment, if applicable, will still be due.

These charges apply to any reason including cancellation due to illness on the day.

If you choose not to go through with your training or jump for any reason, any monies paid will not be returned.

The upper age limit for the ‘Accelerated Free fall course and the ‘Static Line course’ is 54 years of age. There is no age limit for Tandem Skydives, as long as there is a valid medical certificate.

If your preferred date is not available we will offer you a suitable alternative.

In the unlikely event of an aircraft or the club facilities not being available we will transfer your jump to another day at no extra charge..

All monies paid are non-refundable and non transferable.

Gift Vouchers

All gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for six months from date of purchase. After this time they will be deemed to have been used. In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances they may be subject to a small surcharge when used within their validity period..

Weather

If weather prevents your tandem skydive from taking place on your booked date your must return within six months to make your jump. After this time you will incur additional costs and after one year the jump will be forfeited. If  you have taken advantage of a discounted midweek price and book to return on a different midweek day or at a weekend or on a bank holiday the full fee for that day is applicable. If you have paid the full fee you may rebook on any date for no extra charge.

If weather prevents your solo jump from taking place you must return within three months to make your jump. After this time you will incur additional costs and after six months the jump will be forfeited.

Health, Age and Safety Restrictions

Weight limits of 14½ stone (92kgs) for men and 13½ stone (86kgs) for women (fully clothed) apply to anyone making their first jump with us. You may be weighed during registration. The cancellation charges set out in the terms and conditions above will apply to anyone exceeding these limits.

Everyone will sign a declaration of fitness on the day. In the case of people aged 40 or over they must bring with them a declaration of fitness form which has been signed and stamped by their doctor. If you fail to produce this form on the day the cancellation charges set out in the terms and conditions will apply.

Anyone aged sixteen or seventeen must bring with them the declaration of fitness form witnessed by a parent or guardian and a BPA membership agreement form signed by their parent or guardian.

You must be able to walk unaided, climb a ladder and lift your knees to hip level.

Jumps may be refused to anyone, either temporarily or permanently, that we do not consider fit or suitable for parachuting.

General Terms

You must comply with our club rules at all times for your own safety.

No alcohol may be consumed on the airfield until all jumping has finished for the day.
